Skyway Delivery

This game was made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 53.

As a Skyway Delivery driver, you will pick up and deliver packages from platform to platform in a futuristic city with flying cars. The goal is to deliver the 10 packages in the shortest time possible.

Controls

Mouse+Keyboard

 WSAD to move horizontally (thrust forward, slow, turn)

• Up arrow to thrust upward.
• Enter/Return key to dismiss dialog popups.
• Click on the status in the lower right corner to see the destination.

Gamepad

I tested with a Switch Pro, but hopefully others work too.

• Left analog to move horizontally (thrust forward, slow, turn)
• East button to thrust
• South button to dismiss dialog popups
• North button to  to see the destination

Tips

• Look for the pillars of light. They point to your next platform. The camera will pan to them at every delivery step. You can press a button to see it too (see Controls above)
• There are 3 steps for each job:
  • Get a job from Headquarters (that's where you start)
  • Land on the pickup platform
  • Land on the delivery platform
• Land with a speed lower than 10. Any higher, and you'll crash.

Changelog

• There were some game breaking bugs that were fixed
  • The light pillars that show players where to go where not always showing up.
  • Once a player crashed, the player would spawn back at HQ after every delivery step
